Summary:

Alison, Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna were best friends in middle school until Alison out of nowhere disappeared. Now three years later Alison’s body was found and she was murdered. They all live separate lives but Aria, Spencer, Emily and Hanna are juniors at Rosewood high school. Aria moves back to rosewood, Hannah being very popular at school, Spencer being a straight A student and Emily being a 1^st place swimmer. The girls become very close again only because they all start getting mysterious texts messages from a person who states there name as A and apparently knows all their secrets that they only told Alison.
